Pacific & Eastern
Operations

circa 1989

The Pacific & Eastern is modeled in the early fall of 1989.  This was the last full year of operation for Medco and near the height of lumber production in the Rogue Valley.  Autumn allows a full pallet of color: the greens of the trees and creek side vegetation, tan grasses in the hills, yellow aspen in the mountains, an occasional burst of red as poison oak and other deciduous species turn color and, of course, abundant blue skies with a few clouds and perhaps a thunder storm in the distance.

Come explore how the railroad operates, where it runs and it's equipment.
